Jean and David Watton established Daws Rockers in 1995, making an extensive range of rocking horse designs from the Tudor period right through to the present day. Each horse is hand carved , the mane and tail are made from Yak or synthetic hair to give a true scaled appearance. Leather saddle, bridle and reins are added with metal studs and stirrups to provide highly accurate authentic detailing. The dappling designs vary from horse to horse as each piece is individually created.
